In Mrs. Giordano’s classroom at Coal City Intermediate School, fourth and fifth grade students are focusing on learning responsibility. The students are practicing managing their own materials, completing assignments on time, and making positive choices during the school day.
“By being responsible for ourselves and our belongings, we’re building independence and pride in our work. It’s great to see how even small steps like remembering to bring supplies or finish our work helps us be the best students we can be,” Mrs. Giordano said.
