Report: Woodland School District spent $15,226 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Woodland Community Consolidated School District 50 was up 30.1 percent from five years ago, according to the Lake County Gazette analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Lake County school district spent $11,707 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $15,226 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 5,882 to 5,279 students over the same period.

Woodland's spending in 2019-20 was 5.1 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
