Libertyville taxpayers paid $291,137 in Non-Home Rule Sales Tax in December 2021, according to Illinois tax records.

This is an increase over the month before when $287,537 was collected.

Taxpayers in Libertyville have paid $3.1 million in Non-Home Rule Sales Tax in the last 12 months.

The Non-Home Rule Sales Tax is collected for municipal governments' use.

Illinois is the highest taxed state in the US.
