"On August 5, 2023 we are calling on all families who love God and love America to gather at our local public libraries to pray, sing, and read BRAVE Books and other books of virtue. Imagine thousands of local public libraries filled by you and your friends, your pastors, your teachers and your local representatives on this date.”

It sats it aims to create a unique learning experience through epic adventure stories that equip children with a brave spirit to combat the challenges faced by the nation today.
The event comes as the Illinois Freedom Caucus has called for local libraries to leave the Chicago-based American Library Association after its hiring of president, Emily Drabinski. The Caucus has suggested Drabinski will use her position to promote extreme ideologies, leading them to call for disassociation from the ALA and its alleged shift towards a "woke agenda.”
“I just cannot believe that a Marxist lesbian who believes that collective power is possible to build and can be wielded for a better world is the president-elect of @ALALibrary. I am so excited for what we will do together. Solidarity! And my mom is SO PROUD I love you mom.' (@edrabinski),” Drabinski said on Twitter after getting the job.
The State of Montana pulled out of the ALA after Drabinski was named president, Prairie State Wire reported.
