The Mundelein Arts Commission will present the Charles Dickens story, "A Christmas Carol," as a free live musical radio play starting on Dec. 2.

"The 60-minute theater play will be directed by Jon Matousek and Joyce Becker Lee, with accompaniment by Kai Funahashi", said the Mundelein Arts Commission. They added that talented local actors would bring the classic tale to life.

The Mundelein Arts Commission also announced that the play would be staged in the Board Room of the Mundelein Village Hall at 300 Plaza Circle in Mundelein. They affirmed that admission and parking are free while non-perishable food donations to the Fremont Food Pantry would be welcomed.

Moreover, according to them, "The play will be presented on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m." They also specified other presentation dates: "It also will be presented on Friday, Dec. 8, and Saturday, Dec. 9, at 7 p.m., and on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m."

Finally, they mentioned that even though the in-person event is free with limited space, reservations are required and will be filled on a first-received first-reserved basis according to the Mundelein Arts Commission reservation page.
