Lake County is set to commence early voting next month, with Lake Forest's City Hall serving as the polling site for all county voters. However, it should be noted that City Hall will not function as a polling place on the actual election day.
According to a press release from the City of Lake Forest, all Lake County voters are eligible to cast their votes at Lake Forest's City Hall, located at 220 E. Deerpath Road, during the early voting period. The voting schedule runs from Monday, March 4 through Saturday, March 16 in preparation for the General Primary Election slated for March 19.
The same press release further outlines the voting hours at City Hall. Voting will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. The early voting site will remain closed on Sunday.
For residents who choose not to participate in early voting, they can locate their respective polling sites within the city via the Office of Lake County Clerk's Election Day Voting page (https://www.lakecountyil.gov/4323/Election-Day-Voting), as stated in another press release by the City of Lake Forest.
Additionally, residents seeking more information about the city's role in administering elections can refer to a Q&A session with City Clerk Margaret Boyer on Lake Forest Love.
