(c) PROCLAMATION: Vietnam Veteran’s Day – March 29, 2024

8. Consider passing RESOLUTION as follows:

(a) Supporting the construction of an Educare School within the City of Zion per Mayor McKinney

9. Consider passing ORDINANCES as follows:

(a) Abating the Tax heretofore levied for the Year 2023 to pay the Principal of and Interest on $288,251.00 Taxable General Obligation Refunding Bonds, (Alternate Revenue Source), Series 2017, of the City of Zion, Lake County, Illinois per Administrator Knabel

(b) Amending provisions of Chapter 56 of the Zion Municipal Code regarding Liquor License Classifications within the City of Zion per Mayor McKinney

(c) Extending a Special Use Permit for a 2.5 Megawatt Direct Current/2 Megawatt Alternate Current Fixed Tilt Ground Mounted Community Solar Project per Administrator Knabel

(d) Approving and authorizing a Redevelopment Agreement by and between the City of Zion and Dukas Enterprises, Limited per Administrator Knabel

(e) Authorizing and approving a power maintenance agreement with Genserve per Administrator Knabel

(f) Authorizing and approving the purchase of essential equipment (CPR-Assist Device) per Administrator Knabel

(g) Authorizing and approving the disposal of surplus property (Discarded and Damaged Bicycles) per Chief Barden

(h) Authorizing and approving the purchase of products and services (Interactive Training Equipment for the Zion Police Department) from VirTra, Inc. per Chief Barden

(i) Authorizing and approving the use of Drones by the Zion Police Department on behalf of the City of Zion per Chief Barden

(j) Authorizing and approving enhanced security measures to be taken on City property located within the City of Zion per Chief Barden

(k) Regarding Surplus property (Onan 45 YJ Stand by Generator) in the Police Department per Chief Barden

(l) Authorizing the lease of property located at or about 0 Green Bay Road (Michels Pipeline, Inc. for Parking and/or Construction -Related Activities per Director Ianson

(a) Consider approval of Construction Management Services regarding Fire Station 2 RFP per Administrator Knabel

(b) Tabulation of Bids – Cleaning & Maintenance Services for City Hall/Police Administration and Public Works per Director Ianson

(c) Consider approval of proposal from Burke Engineering Services to assist with completing the City’s required Lead Water Service Line Material Inventory per Director Roberts
