Libertyville, IL – Jim Carris, the independent candidate for Illinois’ 10th Congressional District, was recently featured on WLS 890AM’s Ray Stevens Show. In the interview, Carris outlined his vision and explained why he is a fresh, common-sense choice for voters this November.

Carris shared his personal experience of being held hostage and his unwavering commitment to bring the hostages taken on October 7 home immediately. He highlighted the stark contrast between his people-first platform and the failed track record of the current ten-year incumbent, Brad Schneider, who consistently votes in lockstep with the far-left rather than addressing the unique needs of the District’s families.

“My opponent prioritizes party loyalty over the independent needs of our District,” said Jim Carris. “The people of the 10th District deserve better representation—someone who will act with integrity, consider every issue with common sense and a critical lens as it relates to our communities, and give voters their voice back.
