MUSEUM OPERATIONS
Archiving
Will start up again for the winter break. Also, the donor was upset his name was not in the display case with the artifact he had donated to the museum. That was a practice before the Commission took over, but has since changed that policy. We will send a letter to the donor about the new policy.
Facility Maintenance
Will contact the Park District about the second computer screen found in the storage room and if it should be removed. Also, we will ask if two metal radiators can be removed from the museum to give more space (one in the storage room, one in the ladies' waiting room). We want to keep the others for historical sake.
Collections: Accessioning / De-Accessioning
Commissioner Baur said he found someone who would like to buy the military jacket we have with the soldier’s numbers on the collar, but per policy it cannot be sold.
