Due to projected winter weather conditions, all Community Unit School District 200 (CUSD 200) schools will engage in an E-Learning day on February 12. After closely monitoring the weather forecast and collaborating with district partners and surrounding school districts in DuPage County, this decision was made out of caution concerning the snow's impact on afternoon transportation.

Students in grades 1-12 are expected to follow the E-Learning schedule available online. All students should log in to Google Classroom by 9 a.m. to receive assignments and Google Meets links. Kindergarten and early childhood students will follow plans communicated by their teachers.

If any technology-related issues arise, parents are advised to submit a HelpDesk Ticket with the CUSD 200 Technology Department.

CUSD 200 schools will communicate the status of any after-school or evening activities directly with families during the day tomorrow.

Barring additional travel challenges or inclement weather, school is expected to resume on Thursday, February 13. Parents are encouraged to continue monitoring e-mail, social media, and district websites for updates about the weather and its impact on operations.

Dr. Jeff Schuler said: "After closely monitoring the weather forecast for our area and working with our district partners and other surrounding school districts in DuPage County, we have made this decision out of an abundance of caution as we are concerned about the snow’s impact on transportation in the afternoon. "

For further inquiries or concerns, parents can reach out to their child's teacher(s).
