National Social Work Month | Gurnee School District 56
Gurnee School District 56 is celebrating National Social Work Month, recognizing the daily contributions of its social workers to students' lives.
"Each day, our Social Workers positively influence our students by helping them see, believe, and achieve in previously unimaginable ways," the district said.
The social workers being honored are:
- Ian Chatman - Viking Middle School
- Melissa Dunbar - Viking Middle School
- Michelle Handler - Prairie Trail School
- Daisy Lopez - Spaulding School
- Jennifer Lubchenko - Viking Middle School
- Bethany Roy - River Trail School
- Jessica Saban - Prairie Trail School
- Lydia Scher - Spaulding School
The district will highlight each of these individuals in the coming days to acknowledge their dedication to District 56 students and families.
