Students at Coal City High School are participating in a new Zoology course led by Mr. Looper. In this class, students are studying various animal groups and performing dissections as part of their curriculum. The current focus is on flatworms, specifically examining the regenerative abilities of planaria. Students are conducting experiments by cutting planaria in different locations to observe which parts are capable of regenerating into whole new organisms.
