City of North Chicago Public Works Committee met Feb. 17

Alderman Evans called the meeting to order.

ROLL CALL:

Present: Jackson, Coleman, Evans, Allen, Smith, Murphy (RP)

Absent: January

I. DISCUSSION OF BP&T CHANGE ORDER TO EXTEND THE 2024 WATER TREATMENT PLANT (WTP) PAINTING PROJECT TO FY 2025 NOT TO EXCEED PRICE OF $100,000 FOR BP & T CONSTRUCTION:

Public Works Interim Director Bob Miller explained the BP&T change order to extend the 2024 Water Treatment Plant Project to FY 2025 Not to Exceed price of $100,000 for BP & T Construction. Asked approval for another year.

Alderman Smith questioned if any minority contractors. Mr. Miller acknowledged there were at the time it was bid and would remain the same as previously discussed.

Alderman Allen moved, seconded by Alderman Smith that Public Works Committee Meeting stand adjourned.
