The Waukegan Park District has announced that it is now accepting applications for outdoor facility rentals for the year 2025. The available venues include a pond-side pavilion at Bevier Park and the recently renovated formal garden at Bowen Park, offering scenic settings suitable for both small and large events.

Reservations are necessary for several types of gatherings: groups of twenty-six or more individuals, any group renting specific areas such as green spaces, pavilions, gazebos, or bandshells, events involving equipment brought into a park, publicly advertised events, and gatherings impacting normal public use of a park. Additionally, groups of twenty-five or fewer individuals can reserve Green Space D or E without charge.

Applications can be submitted online at waukeganparks.org/permits or in person and by mail at the Jack Benny Center for the Arts located at 39 Jack Benny Drive in Bowen Park. All reservations will be granted based on an application-review process.

For further details including the park permit guide and agreement as well as a list of outdoor facilities, interested parties can visit waukeganparks.org/permits.
