Lake Forest Schools announced that Lake Forest High School hosted TEDxLFHS 2025 on March 19, providing a platform for inspiring talks and performances aimed at students, staff, and the community. The announcement was made through a press release.

According to the release, the TEDxLFHS 2025 event revolved around the theme "Wonderworks" and featured diverse speakers and performers. Topics included the history of salt, the influence of language on perception, and personal stories of resilience. Hosted by Clare Kaiser and Siobhan Boyle, the event comprised four student speakers, three faculty presentations, and five musical performances. Special acknowledgments were extended to the Lake Forest High School Association of Parents and Teachers and the Lake Forest High School Foundation for their support in making the event possible.

The Lake Forest High School Foundation (LFHS) is known for providing funding for educational initiatives at Lake Forest High School through grants that support students, faculty, and staff. Since its inception in 2002, the foundation has awarded over 290 grants totaling more than $2.2 million for projects such as Makerspace, Business Incubator, and 21st-century learning labs. It collaborates with teachers, students, and administrators to review grant applications and allocate resources.

Lake Forest High School was established in 1935 as a public secondary school in Lake Forest, Illinois. It serves grades 9–12 with approximately 95% of its students pursuing higher education. The school supports personalized instruction within a collaborative environment emphasizing mutual respect, high expectations, and a sense of belonging. It serves communities including Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and Knollwood under the motto "Pursuits become habits."

Lake Forest Community High School District 115 caters to approximately 1,500 students from Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and Knollwood in grades 9–12. The district offers a wide range of academic programs including advanced placement courses and specialized electives along with extracurricular activities such as athletics, performing arts, clubs, career pathways, and community service opportunities. Feeder schools include Deer Path Middle School, Lake Bluff Middle School along with several private and parochial schools in the area.
