Winfield School District reported a focused and productive week across all grade levels. Primary students, particularly in second grade, participated in a creative math activity titled "I mustache you a question. " Intermediate students continued to engage with new content and develop strong academic habits. On the athletics front, track season has commenced with the first meet scheduled for Tuesday, April 15, at Benjamin School. The school is seeking two parent volunteers to assist with timing or field events; interested parties are encouraged to contact Mr. Kahlfeldt.

The district also celebrated the efforts of its Student Leadership Team who traveled with staff to deliver donations to the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans. "We all should be proud of their leadership and service," said the report. These initiatives highlight that learning extends beyond classroom walls.

As the school year approaches its final weeks, there is an emphasis on sustained effort from both students and teachers. Parents and community members are invited to mark their calendars for Wednesday, April 23, 2025, when Winfield School will host its annual Student Showcase Night under the theme "Unmasking Our Superpowers.
