Brianna Schumm reflects on active junior high career ahead of graduation

Sarah Garretson Secretary | Cornell Community Consolidated School District 426

During Brianna's Cornell Grade School career, she participated in several activities:

- Garden Club in 7th grade

- Cheerleading from 6th grade to 8th grade

- Volleyball since 4th grade, receiving an award for Most Improved in 6th grade and Good Accuracy Serve in 7th grade

- Student Council throughout junior high, serving as secretary in her 8th- grade year

- 4-H since she was a Cloverbud at five years old, earning gold and bronze medals for her records

She has also been involved with livestock showing goats, horses, and dogs, receiving many awards. She went to state three years for dog obedience and received Grand Champion, Supreme Champion, and second overall nationally for showing goats. Additionally, she earned Champion Horses two years consecutively and Champion Halter Class among other first-place titles.

Bri's interests include being outside, showing livestock, hunting, camping, crafting, and various shades of blue. Some of her favorite things are steak, goats, horses, and camping. In high school: she looks forward to meeting new people joining FFA (Future Farmers of America) getting her license & playing on the volleyball team Her career goal is to become a veterinarian for both small- large animals
