Grant has announced a partnership with Verdant College Prep & Tutoring to offer ACT Summer Crash Courses. These courses are designed for current sophomores and juniors who wish to begin their test preparation early and enhance their confidence for the upcoming school year.
Throughout June and July, students can enroll in focused courses covering English, Math, Reading, and Science. Each course is scheduled over two evenings from 7:00–9:00 PM on campus in Room 165, accessible through Door #2. The cost is $65 per class.
"Important Note: Course content will be the same in June and July, so students should only sign up for one session per subject. (For example, if a student takes English in June, they should not sign up for the July English session.)"
The course dates are as follows:
June Sessions:
- English: Tuesday, June 3 & Thursday, June 5
- Math: Tuesday, June 10 & Thursday, June 12
- Reading: Tuesday, June 17 & Wednesday, June 18
- Science: Tuesday, June 24 & Thursday, June 26
July Sessions:
- English: Tuesday, July 8 & Thursday, July 10
- Math: Tuesday, July 15 & Thursday, July 17
- Reading: Tuesday, July 22 & Thursday, July 24
- Science: Tuesday, July 29 & Thursday, July 31
Registration deadlines are set for May 27 for the June courses and July 1 for the July courses. A minimum of eight students is required per course to proceed.
"If your student is interested in participating but may need financial assistance," parents or guardians are encouraged to "contact the Main Office for support."
The initiative aims to provide students with an opportunity to build their skills and prepare effectively for the ACT test.
