Illinois flags at half-staff to honor fallen Chicago police officer

Flags covered by the Illinois Flag Display Act have been ordered to half-staff in honor and memory of Chicago Police Officer Krystal Rivera. Flags will be lowered from sunrise on Monday, June 23 through sunset Wednesday, June 25.

Officer Rivera was killed in the line of duty on June 5. Visitation is planned for June 24, and the funeral will be held June 25.
