Round Lake Community Unit School District 116 will host its annual Back to School Bash at Round Lake High School on August 22 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. The event is free and open to all students, families, and community members.

The district includes several schools in Lake County, such as Indian Hill Elementary School, Magee Middle School, Pleviak Elementary School, Raymond Ellis Elementary School, Round Lake Beach Elementary School, Round Lake Middle School, Round Lake Senior High School, Village Elementary School, and W.J. According to the Illinois State Board of Education, the district employs 512 teachers with an average salary of $69,620 before pension contributions.
