Westminster Public Schools has added 98 new teachers for the 2025–26 academic year. The teachers began their orientation a week ahead of returning staff, focusing on the district’s Competency Based System (CBS) and building relationships with colleagues.
Rebecca Pyfrom is among the new hires, joining Mesa Elementary School after relocating from Washington state. “I wanted to be near the national parks,” Pyfrom said. “A lot of good stuff in Colorado. The people are super cool and adventurous. Also, I am passionate about educating kids.”
