UTHS plans Europe trip for students in summer 2026

United Township High School District 30 is offering its students a chance to travel through central Europe in the summer of 2026. The trip will include visits to Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, and Hungary. Students will explore cities such as Berlin, Prague, Krakow, and Budapest. Planned activities include seeing historic sites in Berlin, several locations related to World War II, and Auschwitz in Poland.

An informational meeting for interested families will be held on Wednesday, September 10 at 6:00 PM in the UTHS library.

The United Township High School District 30 serves Rock Island and Henry counties and includes United Township High School. According to state data, no teacher has more than ten absences per school year (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/). The student body is made up of approximately 51 percent White students, 16 percent Black students, nearly 26 percent Hispanic students, and just under three percent Asian students (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/). In 2020, the district spent $19,622 per student for a total expenditure of $33.5 million (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/).
