United Township High School District 30 has announced a two-hour late start for United Township High School and UTEC on Monday, September 15, 2025. The schedule adjustment is part of the district’s ongoing School Improvement Planning.

Classes will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 3:05 p.m., with buses running approximately two hours behind their usual morning schedule. Students are required to remain in the cafeteria or south hallway until 9:45 a.m., and breakfast service will proceed as normal.

The school day will be divided into eight periods, each ranging from 30 to 40 minutes. The district emphasized that these changes apply only for this specific date.
