Last Friday, the administration and board of education of Collinsville Community Unit School District 10 hosted their annual Staff Appreciation Tailgate at Kahok Stadium. The event took place before the Collinsville Kahok Football home opener.

District employees and their families attended the gathering, where Bagley Farms Meat Market provided hotdogs, brats, and hamburgers. Central office administrators and board members served the food. After the meal, families received free admission to watch the football game in which the Kahoks secured their first win of the season against Carbondale.

A district staff member was recognized for helping capture moments from the event. "A special thanks to an awesome member of the Kahok Family, Garland Edmonds, a student support specialist in our district, for taking photos at the start of the tailgate."
