Tony Award-winning music director and Lake Forest High School alumnus Marco Paguia is scheduled to visit his alma mater on Monday, September 22 during the fourth period. The event is organized by Producers-at-Large (PALS) in collaboration with the LFHS Fine and Performing Arts Department.

Paguia, who graduated from Lake Forest High School in 1995, recently earned two Tony Awards for his contributions to the Broadway musical "Buena Vista Social Club." He will meet with theater and music students to discuss his career path from high school student to Broadway professional. According to organizers, he will also answer questions from students about working in the performing arts industry.

The session aims to provide current students an opportunity to engage directly with a successful alumnus and learn about the demands of a career in Broadway music direction and arrangement. Permission slips for attending are available through the LFHS Theater Schoology group or can be picked up from Mrs. MacBlane.
