At its regular meeting on September 22, 2025, the Collinsville Community Unit School District 10 Board of Education recognized Collinsville High School senior Sara McChristian. McChristian was honored for her selection to the 2025-26 Illinois State Board of Education Student Advisory Council. She is one of 21 students statewide chosen to represent student perspectives on education issues.
Collinsville High School Principal Bobby Wright introduced McChristian during the meeting. She received a certificate of recognition signed by Board President Gary Peccola and Superintendent Dr. Mark B. Skertich.
The Collinsville Community Unit School District 10 serves schools in Madison and St. Clair counties, including Caseyville Elementary School, Collinsville High School, Collinsville Middle School, Dorris Intermediate School, Jefferson Elementary School, John A.
