On September 26, Lake Forest High School held an induction ceremony for new members of the National Chinese Honor Society. The event took place in the school's library classroom and was hosted by Dr. John Trowbridge.
The ceremony honored students who have shown strong achievement and commitment to learning Chinese language and culture. According to organizers, membership in this honor society is intended to "strive for excellence, embrace cross-cultural understanding, and recognize the growing importance of language skills in our interconnected world." The school congratulated all inductees.
The students inducted this year are Grayson Auriol, Ella Korczak, Addison Ginn, Eleanor Laughton, Riley Ginn, Evie McLaughlin, Lauren Hanson, Katherine Silvay, Nicole Janowicz, Chelsea Song, Vivian Johnson, Ameen Yousuf, and Cooper Zuerlein.
