mPOWERu, a collaboration between the ZBTHS National Honor Society and the ZESD Youth Leadership Team, launched its first Leading with Literacy event at the Zion-Benton Public Library. The event included activities such as mindfulness, poetry, shared reading, and bookmark-making. Organizers plan to continue the series on the second Tuesday of each month.
