Lake Forest Community High School District 115 has announced a family-friendly movie night at LFHS Varsity Field, featuring the film *Hotel Transylvania* on Saturday, October 25.
According to Lake Forest High School (LFHS), districts 67 and 115, in collaboration with the LFHS Boosters, are organizing this event. The gates will open at 5 p.m., with the screening commencing at 6 p.m., providing an evening of entertainment for families and friends.
The LFHS Boosters is a nonprofit organization that supports Lake Forest High School athletics by promoting student-athlete success, spirit, and sportsmanship. The group offers memberships and sponsorship opportunities, with donations potentially qualifying for tax deductions. Community Partner Sponsors like Lake Forest Bank & Trust contribute to funding various programs benefiting LFHS students. Membership is available to all supporters without any obligations beyond donation. Annual memberships span from August to May, but additional contributions can be made without membership.

Lake Forest Elementary School District 67 serves approximately 1,600 students from Pre-K through eighth grade. The district comprises three elementary schools—Cherokee Elementary (K-4), Everett Elementary (K-4), and Sheridan Elementary (Pre-K-4)—as well as Deer Path Middle School (5-8). Known for its innovative instructional practices, District 67 emphasizes inclusive education and personalized learning experiences that support academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development. The district’s mission is to inspire and empower students to maximize growth and cultivate respect for others in a dynamic, safe learning environment.
Lake Forest Community High School District 115 serves about 1,500 students in grades nine through twelve from Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and Knollwood. The district offers a comprehensive curriculum including advanced placement courses, electives, athletics, performing arts, clubs, and career pathways while also emphasizing social-emotional growth and community service. More than 95% of students pursue higher education after graduation. Feeder schools include Deer Path Middle School, Lake Bluff Middle School, and local private and parochial schools. Districts 115 and 67 share services such as administration, finance, human resources, technology, and special education to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
