Daniel Wright Junior High School has been ranked number 11 among Illinois middle schools by U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 Best Elementary and Middle Schools in the Nation. The ranking is based on academic performance on state assessments, student preparation for high school, and a focus on educational quality.
