Many educators and administrators from Woodland Elementary will volunteer at the upcoming "Shop with an Educator" event. The initiative invites students to shop alongside current or former teachers, selecting items for donation to a food drive. All families in the district are encouraged to participate.
The event is scheduled for Monday, December 1, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Target located at 6601 Grand Ave., Gurnee.
Woodland Community Consolidated School District 50 serves several schools in Lake County, including Woodland Elementary School, Woodland Intermediate School, Woodland Middle School, and Woodland Primary School.
