United Township High School has released its daily announcements for November 5, 2025, outlining information on meals, yearbook orders, guidance opportunities, sports meetings, and club activities.

The cafeteria menu for the day includes oven baked chicken leg with a whole grain roll, country fried steak with a whole grain dinner roll, carrots, mashed potatoes and gravy, and assorted fresh fruit.

Senior students have until November 7 to purchase Yearbook Senior Baby Ads. Each ad section costs $30 and includes space for a photo and message. Order forms are available in the General Office and Mrs. Green's room (126E). The deadline to preorder a 2026 yearbook is December 19; the cost is $50 if ordered by then through Skyward or at the General Office. After that date, yearbooks will only be available in May at an increased price of $60 with limited supply.

Guidance staff announced several events: "Students, the U.S. Marines will be at UT today in the Commons during all three lunch periods. If you want to know more about how the Marine Corps can help shape your future, visit with the representative." Additionally: "Students, Nov 3 - 7 is FREE application week at Black Hawk College. If you are thinking about attending Black Hawk College, fill out the application - it's FREE this week!" Students interested in meeting ISAC representative Ms. Eden DeTombe should sign up in Guidance for her visit from 9 to 11:30 a.m., while those wishing to learn more about University of Northern Iowa can meet Ms. Laura Roman during Period 3 after signing up.

For athletics: "There will be a winter sports parent meeting today, Wednesday, November 5th, at 6 PM in the UTHS Commons. All parents/guardians of Winter Sport Athletes are required to attend this mandatory meeting. Just as a reminder, all athletes must be registered in Snap! Manage and have an up-to-date physical on file before beginning any tryout or practice." Boys interested in swimming or diving this winter can find information from head coach Allison Patch at the pool; practices begin November 24.

Club meetings include Gamers Club on Friday from 3-5 p.m., Student Council Friday morning at 7:30 a.m., Hope Club Wednesday afternoon from 3:15-5 p.m., Fosters Voice Thursday morning at 7 a.m., and P7 rescheduled for next Friday.

United Township High School District 30 serves Rock Island and Henry counties and includes United Township High School within its jurisdiction (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/). The district has approximately equal numbers of male and female teachers among its total staff of ninety-six educators; none had more than ten absences last school year (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/).
