The Village of Gurnee's civil service commission will hold a special meeting Dec. 15 at Village Hall.
The chief item on the agenda is an executive session to interview a candidate for an unspecified position and to conduct a background review on that candidate.
The civil service commission is the governing body of the Village of Gurnee's Public Works Department, Police Department and Fire Department.
The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m.
