The Committee Representing Our Young Adults (CROYA) Adult Board discussed a number of recent successes from the CROYA youth program at its Sept. 15 meeting.
The committee described several well-attended CROYA meetings to start the school year as well as an average of 100 music lessons being delivered every week. CROYA also received $3,000 in donations for volunteering at the Artisan Guild Fair.
The committee is also setting up a series of peer trainings. The first, a set of six trainings, will train 12 to 15 students from Lake Forest High School followed by trainings at Deer Path Middle School.
Moving forward, the committee will meet on the second Tuesday of the month; meetings had been previously scheduled for the third Tuesday of each month.
