Lake County GOP fills fall calendar with fundraising, fun

The Lake County Republican Party is calling on area supporters to come out for several fundraising events for local candidates in September and early October

The group also has announced its Second Amendment Dinner and Gun Raffle.

On Sept. 25, golf enthusiasts are invited to join the Friends of Nick Sauer Rep. Nick Sauer (R-Lake Barrington) for a golf outing in support of the representative. The event will take place at Kemper Lakes Golf Club, with admission set at $225 per golfer or $850 per foursome, and $75 for dinner only. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

On Sept. 27, supporters are invited to join congressional candidate Doug Bennett from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Cellar Gate Wine Market & Bistro in Highwood. The event will promote Bennett’s run for the 10th District next year, with admission set at $100 per person and $50 for committeemen.

On Oct. 3, Judy Martini will host a Night at the Volo Auto Museum fundraiser in Volo in an effort to assist her re-election campaign for the Lake County Board. Tickets are $30 per person, $50 per couple and $10 per child for the 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. event.

On Oct. 13, the Lake County Republicans Central Committee will host a 7 p.m. dinner event in support of the Second Amendment, with multiple raffles for a range of guns. A variety of ticket packages are available for the evening at Concorde Banquets in Kildeer, which begins at 5:30 p.m.
