Nature of Appeal: The petitioners, Bruce Saltzberg and Marlene Saltzberg, of 211 Pine Point, Highland Park, Illinois 60035, on-behalf-of the owner Chicago Title Land Trust Company Successor Trustee to LaSalle Bank, N.A., As Successor Trustee to NBD Bank, As Trustee under Trust Agreement Dated December 20, 1994 and known as Trust Number 4929, of 226 N. Deere Park Drive East, Highland Park, Illinois 60045, request by authority of Sections 150.1103(A)(4) and 150.1204(A)(13) of the Highland Park Zoning Code, a variation of provisions of Sections 150.703 and 150.703.3(A), as required under the R4 zoning district, to (I) exceed the maximum permitted height of 32 feet by 4.34 feet to a proposed 36.34 feet and (ii) to exceed the maximum allowed floor area of 12,081 square feet by 3,353.7 square feet to a proposed 15,434.7 square feet, in order to construct a new single family residence with attached garage and accessory structures.

The ZBA has been directed by the City Council to hold a public hearing on the request for variation and forward a recommendation back to the City Council for the Council’s final decision.
