The Beach Park Village Board held a Regular Board Meeting on January 25, 2018 at the Beach Park Village Hall at 7:00 P.M.
Present: Mayor John Hucker, Clerk Mary Jo McDonald, Attorney Rudy Magna. Trustees: Don Jensen, Mark Ottersen, Regina Miller and Richard Gust. Absent: Trustee Larry Wells and Linda Sittig.

Facade Tr. Ottersen made a motion authorizing preliminary approval of Board Approved
Grant a façade grant application for signage at 11411 Wadsworth Unanimously
Application Road in the amount not to exceed $10,000. Tr. Miller seconded
the motion.
Ordinance Tr. Ottersen made a motion to PASS ORDINANCE 2018-O-03, Board Approved
2018-O-03 AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE UNIMPROVED Unanimously
RIGHT-OF-WAY OF GARNETT AVENUE EAST OF 10394
W CHANEY AVENUE IN THE VILLAGE OF BEACH

AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE VILLAGE OF BEACH PARK AND THE CITY OF
WAUKEGAN FOR THE INSTALLATION OF
EMERGENCY WARNING SIRENS AND ASSOCIATED
EQUIPMENT. Tr. Jensen seconded the motion. Roll Call.
Mayor Hucker along with Fire Chief George Bridges Jr.
from the City of Waukegan both discussed the joint effort of
Waukegan and Beach Park staff and the advantages of the
two working together for the installation of the Emergency
Warning Sirens.

Parks & Tr. Gust reported that the Luck of the Irish Luncheon will be Information
Recreation held on March 16, 2018 at the Illinois Beach Resort.

2018-O-06 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OR Unanimously
DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED
