North Point Church Request for Permit Fees to be Waived – Food Pantry Building
Trustee Hargett asked to have a discussion before making a motion. He then asked Tom King from North Point Church to explain what the Church wanted to do. Mr. King told the Board that the church has a food pantry the feeds 160 families every 2 weeks on the 2nd and 4th Monday’s of the month. Right now they have to start setting things up on Sunday night and finish setting it up on Monday morning. After the food is given out they then have to take everything down. They are looking to build a 50x80x16 building to hold the pantry supplies. The cost to build this new building is about $200,000.00. Because this is to help people in our community and the project costs are being funded by donations, they are asking the Village to waive any building fees. Mr. King said that they would get all of the plans to Pat DiPersio as soon as possible.
6 - A motion was made by Trustee Hargett and seconded by Trustee McCarthy to Waive any Direct and Third (3rd) Party Permit Fees for North Point Church’s Food Pantry Building. Mayor Bruno declared the motion carried on the following roll call vote.

7 - A motion was made by Trustee Hargett and seconded by Trustee Weiss to Approve all requests of Rebuilding Together – NSC. Mayor Bruno declared the motion carried on the following roll call vote.
Frank Flammini, from Rebuilding Together – NSC, told the board that two residents from Winthrop Harbor were chosen. One is 801 Fulton Ave. – they have already put a water heater in and need to replace a storm door and the other is 1512 – 7th Street. This is a Disabled Vet that needs quite a bit more work – painting, place bath tub with walk-in tub, corroded drain lines, rotted windows and yard clean-up.
