Village of Volo Board of Trustees met May 15.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

The Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Volo was called to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Volo Village Hall, Mayor Stephen Henley presiding.

Roll Call: Trustees Wagner, Porter, Heuser, Northam - present; Trustees Johnson, Buttita - absent. Village Clerk Rydberg - present.

Also present were various staff members.

Presentation – Wauconda High School Future Business Leaders Of America (FBLA)

Wendy Mills, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) advisor at Wauconda High School, and several students participating in the program shared their success at the state competition and requested a donation to defray the cost of participating in the national competition.

Public Comment – Agenda Items: None.

Approval Of Minutes: Regular Meeting Of May 1, 2018

Trustee Porter made a motion, seconded by Trustee Wagner, to approve the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of May 1, 2018. On voice vote – all “aye”. Motion Carried.

Approval: Accounts Payable – April 30, 2018 & May 15, 2018

Trustee Porter made a motion, seconded by Trustee Heuser, to authorize payment of the bills as listed in the Treasurer’s Reports for April 30, 2018 and May 15, 2018. Roll Call: Trustees Wagner, Porter, Heuser, Northam – all “aye”. Motion Carried.

Resolution No. R-18-237: Regarding The Regulation And Permitting Of Small Wireless Facilities Located Within The Village

Trustee Porter made a motion, seconded by Trustee Wagner, to approve Resolution No. R-18-237, directing the preparation of amendments to the Village Code regarding the regulation and permitting of small wireless facilities. Roll Call: Trustees Porter, Heuser, Northam, Wagner – all “aye”. Motion Carried.

Public Comment: None.

Trustee Reports: Trustee Wagner noted that he and Mayor Henley would be attending RECon and have a full schedule of meetings with retailers and developers.

Mayor’s Report: None.

Adjournment:

There being no further business, Trustee Porter made a motion, seconded by Trustee Heuser, to adjourn the meeting. On voice vote – all “aye”. Motion Carried.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:12 p.m.
