Village of Beach Park recently issued the following announcement.
The Beach Park Public Works Department is partnering with American Public Works Association Lake Branch, the Northern Illinois Food Bank and the Lake County Sheriff’s Office for a county-wide food drive.
The food drive is titled ‘Responding to Hunger’ and will also help to highlight the role of Public Works as first responders during emergency management situations, who serve in capacities that complement and even support Police and Fire services during these times of need in our communities.
A collection box for donated canned goods and other non-perishable food items will be at the Village of Beach Park; inside the main entrance at Village Hall, 11270 W. Wadsworth Road. The box will be available through Monday, July 23, 2018
