Central Warren Fire Protection District responded to 35 calls in 2017 - 25.5 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Central Warren included 32 fires - 12 structure fires, five vehicle fires and 15 other fires.

In all, the department saw $126,100 in fire loss - or about $3,941 per fire.

The department also received three false calls.

The Central Warren Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $148,519 in 2017.
