Village of Deerfield issued the following announcement on July 27.
Join the Deerfield Police Department and Deerfield-Bannockburn Fire Protection District for an "EveryDay Hero" Blood Drive!
The blood drive is taking place on Friday, August 3 from noon to 6:00 p.m. at Deerfield Village Hall, 850 Waukegan Rd.
To thank and celebrate those giving blood, all participating donors will receive an EveryDay Hero LifeSource t-shirt.
Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. To schedule your appointment, visit www.lifesource.org; select "Make an Appointment"; login; search by group code: 561A.
