A Popular Annual Financial Report, or PAFR, is a document that is intended to convey the financial results of the Village’s operations those that do not necessarily have a background in public finance. The document is derived from Beach Park's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), and graphics and other visuals to augment the financial message, and should not be overwhelmingly technical in nature. These requirements are sometimes contrary to traditional financial reporting.
We understand the importance of being accountable for the proper management of public funds and are pleased to present the Village’s Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) for the year ended April 30, 2018. The report provides a brief analysis of the Village’s fiscal operations and showcases the Village’s various programs and projects. The PAFR is an example of the Village’s commitment to improve communication with our stakeholders and increase transparency and public confidence in the government body of the Village of Beach Park.
