Village of Deerfield issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
Non-Emergency Village offices will be closed on Tuesday, December 25 and Tuesday, January 1 in observance of Christmas and New Year's Day. Regular hours will resume on the following Tuesdays.
Refuse collection (garbage and recycling) will be delayed by one day the weeks of December 24 and December 31 due to the holidays. Tuesday collection will take place on Wednesdays and Wednesday collection will take place on Thursdays. As a reminder, do not leave your garbage and recycling toters at the curb during unsanctioned times.
