Ch. Dunn noted that she has seen feather banners in front of Jimmy John’s and McAlisters Deli recently. Ms. Delevitt said she has seen the banners at Jimmy John’s but not McAlisters Deli. Ms. Schneider mentioned they hide them well, near the Home Depot stop sign. Ms. Delevitt will call them both.

Ms. Schneider mentioned that the BP at 1 Lake Cook Road has two (2) bright floodlights shining out from their property. They are located directly above their ice storage. Ms. Delevitt will go look and see if there is anything they could do to minimize their light spillage.

Mr. Mock inquired about the car driving into the Tony’s Subs building. Mr. Lichterman noted the driver is in the hospital in critical condition. Ch. Dunn mentioned there is a lot of damage to the exterior of the building. Mr. Lichterman said Tony’s Subs is back open for business.

Ms. Flores asked what the status is with the development behind Deerbrook Mall. Mr. Lichterman said the developer has put that project on hold.

Items from Staff:

Ms. Delevitt drove by and called City Barbeque about their broken trash enclosure. She also sent an email to the store manager. She will follow up with the Deerbrook Mall property management company if she does not hear back from them.

Ms. Delevitt spoke to a new business Owner this week about coming to Cadwell’s Corners. They will need new signage and she hopes they will come to the ARC in February. BP will likely come back for a Final Review of their fuel price sign in March. They need to go to the Board of Zoning Appeals for their zoning modifications before they come back to the ARC.
