Hard to see the face of Jesus in others?
Want to be the face of Jesus to others?
This Summer!
Make time for prayer, reflection and community along the spiritual path of St. Therese Lisieux.
Be refreshed and renewed in your ministerial call.
- Contextualize the Catholic concept of hiddenness.
- Appreciate the devotion to the Holy Face of Christ through the lived experiences of Sts. Louis Martin and his daughter, Therese of Lisieux.
- Understand through scripture the "Abba" conscience experience of Sts. Louis Martin and his daughter, Therese of Lisieux.
- Explore our devotion to the Holy Face, pulling the veil back, even if a few inches, on the hiddenness of the cosmic, universal Christ in our broken world.
Coffee, snacks and lunch will be included.
Thomas M Howard (D Min) and Libia E. Paez-Howard (M Div) have dedicated their entire professional lives to the Church through many apostolic ministries. They attribute their faithfulness to ministry to the sacrament of marriage and its ongoing success to cultural diversity (Tom is from Minnesota and Libia is from Venezuela). Parents of three young adult married children, they are blessed with five beautiful granddaughters. Tom and Libia look forward to more. Thanks to retirement, these missionary disciples also look forward to creatively addressing underlying, unmet needs in our Church.
