Grayslake, IL – “It means the world to me to be endorsed by those who keep us safe in our communities,” said Adam Shores in accepting the endorsements of the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) and Trooper’s Lodge #41 this week, as the race for the 62nd District seat rages as one of the most hotly contested open seat campaigns in the state.

Law enforcement organizations are endorsing Shores over his opponent citing his proven record in support of protecting life and property.
“Our law enforcement professionals deserve our respect and support in their mission to serve and protect our communities,” said Shores. “Public safety must be properly funded, and law enforcement fully trained. The Illinois SAFE-T Act has jeopardized our public safety and I will be an advocate for fixing those problems and giving our law enforcement professionals and prosecutors a seat at the table in strategizing those changes.”
Support from law enforcement organizations is a key distinction for Shores’ campaign against his opponent Laura Faver Dias.
