Lake County is seeking input from its residents on how to utilize funds from lawsuits to address the opioid crisis. An in-person meeting will take place on July 31 at Waukegan Township.
According to a Lake County press release, the county aims to develop a data-driven strategic plan for the use of opioid lawsuit funds with the assistance of residents who may attend either in person or virtually.
The in-person meeting is scheduled from 6-7 p.m. on July 31 at Waukegan Township, located at 149 S. Genesee St. Virtual meetings will be held from 7-8 p.m. on July 31 and from 6-7 p.m. on August 1.
