City of North Chicago Judiciary Committee met Jan. 6
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
Alderman Jackson called the meeting to order.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Jackson, Coleman, Evans, Allen, Smith, Murphy, January
Absent: None
I. DISCUSSION/REVIEW OF BROOKSTONE AT COLES PARK:
Chief of Staff Greg Jackson explained had consulted with legal counsel about update to the surety bond. There was a formal public safety plan needed. The 1st meeting would be held, January 21, 2025. Law enforcement and Senior Brookstone management would be present. They would be searching for ground security and an update to the adjudication officer in February 2025. If the milestones aren’t met, a fine would be levied as previously discussed.
Alderman Coleman questioned clarification with Kukla Towers status. Alderman Jackson recommended to await Alderman Coleman’s findings to be presented.
Alderman Allen moved, seconded by Alderman Coleman that Judiciary Committee Meeting stand adjourned.
