The East Alton School District has announced its Spring Parent-Teacher Conferences, emphasizing the importance of collaborative discussions on student achievement and progress.
"The school year is flying by, and it’s already time to start preparing for our Spring Parent Teacher Conferences," said the district's communication. "We are excited for the opportunity to share with you our continued educational journey in your child’s classroom, your child’s achievement and assessment scores, work habits, and peer relationships. "
Teachers will also discuss students' progress toward mastering the Illinois Learning Standards. The district highlights that these conversations are crucial for building an effective instructional program.
Conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, February 26th, and Thursday, February 27th. An online program will be used to facilitate conference time sign-ups.
Parents can access the program to select available time slots with teachers. Those with multiple children at EAMS can choose several teachers within the same system.
The process involves selecting teachers, entering necessary contact information, receiving a confirmation email with a link to select conference times, and finalizing or registering for additional classes if needed.
The district expressed gratitude towards parents: "Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to the opportunity to discuss your child’s successes and goals together. "
